DAY

Returns the day of the month (1-31) from a date value.

Syntax

DAY(date)

Arguments

• date: The date from which to extract the day.

Example

DAY("2025-03-02") → Returns 2
DAY(A1) → Returns the day of the month from the date in cell A1
